There is a rust that belongs to wedding fires and vermillion and the oldest kind of blessing. This saree lives in that colour. Across the rust ground, crowned deity butti in antique gold and navy repeat across the body like a quiet invocation, each figure placed with the patience only a hand loom allows. At the border, an entire mythology moves in gold, figure after figure, scene after scene, the full vocabulary of Bishnupur rendered in a single extraordinary band.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
