Sandhya: Copper Rose Kalakshetra
By Bishnupur's Master Weavers
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
Two bodies in a quiet conversation — a warm copper-bronze panel with small multicolour resham butti in red, teal and white, and a soft blush rose panel carrying the same diamond butti in navy, red and white. The two tones shift almost imperceptibly into each other, warm metal meeting soft bloom. Between them a teal and mustard stripe border with fine white dot work keeps the two panels anchored. The pallu glimpsed on the left carries the familiar Kalakshetra stripe in green, mustard and gold. Gentle, luminous and entirely wearable every day.
Woven in Bishnupur, Bankura. No middlemen, no blends, no shortcuts. Only the cloth and the hands that made it.
One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
