Kili: Green and Blue Kalakshetra
By Bishnupur's Master Weavers
Handloom Perfection
Handloom sarees are made by human hands, not machines. Which means every piece carries the natural variations of the loom and the weaver, proof that someone, somewhere, made this just for you.
Description
On a canvas of electric royal blue katan silk, a large white resham parrot sits composed and certain, built dot by careful dot, every feather placed by a hand that knew exactly what it was making. Around it smaller butti keep the rhythm. The bottle green body beside it carries its own quiet resham butti with a clean gold zari border, grounded and still. Then the pallu unfolds in the Kalakshetra's signature stripes, red, teal, grey and green, pulling both panels into one conversation.
A saree with a bird in it. The kind that stays with you.
Woven in Bishnupur, Bankura. No middlemen, no blends, no shortcuts. Only the cloth and the hands that made it.
One garment. Two authors.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
